Antisemitism in the U.S. is at crisis levels. It’s time to do something about it. You’re invited to be part of a transformative movement that goes beyond conversation—a presentation designed to turn empathy into action. Presented, in part, by the KC Ad Club, Kansas City AI Club, and The Freelance Exchange of KC, this industry event will showcase VML’s Stand Up to Jewish Hate campaign, where you’ll discover why there’s a need for it, what’s being done about it, and how you, too, can be a catalyst to create lasting change in our industry. • Learn why antisemitism is on the rise at concerning rates and how it’s making your Jewish friends, colleagues, employees, etc., feel.
• Come together to learn about VML’s #StandUpToJewishHate campaign, including its award-winning Super Bowl commercials for Robert Kraft's Foundation to Combat Antisemitism.
• Hear from community experts on the human and civil rights issues and how it can affect us all going forward. • Get perspective to understand misconceptions and bias, and how to create meaningful change in the workplace.
• Receive tangible steps to implement immediately, including creative strategies to combat hate and promote inclusivity.
This is your opportunity to be a catalyst for change, while uniting the advertising/marketing industry for the greater good. You have the power to do something. Are you ready to step forward, learn, grow, and make a real difference? -- All industry colleagues welcome. Seats are limited. First come, first served. Remote available. To ensure the safety and comfort of all participants, walk-ups will not be allowed. Security will be present. RSVP by EOD April 9th. If you have any questions regarding this important conversation, feel free to reach out to Event Co-Chairs Yolanda Villegas (yolanda@villegasmarketing.com) or Julie Cortés (letsrock@juliecortes.com).
