Responsibilities
· Craft data-driven media plans that deliver on client objectives, across all channels (digital, traditional, and everything in between)
· Conduct deep dives into audience insights, market trends, and competitor intelligence to inform your strategies
· Analyze results and make data-backed recommendations for continuous optimization
· Actively research and propose new technologies, platforms, and tactics to stay ahead of the game.
· Communicate insights and campaign performance clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences
· Partner with internal teams (creative, project management, strategy, account management) and clients to bring your plans to life.
· Maintains an in-depth knowledge of client businesses (and related industries), both from a current situation perspective, as well as a historical perspective
· Maintains a strong command of media resources, capabilities and limitations
· Interprets, coordinates and integrates all assigned media activities as required
· Proactively stays abreast of new media, new methods of using existing media, and current
· Manages against the client SOW to ensure media is delivering on agreed terms within projected hours to ensure positive profitability
· Manages implementation of all approved media plans and projects by:
· Monitoring and overseeing all budget
· Securing media authorizations from AM/Client per approved plans/project requests
· Preparing buy specifications/guidelines upon client authorizations
· Preparing budget recaps for clients
· Monitoring broadcast buying team during the negotiations process and checks final buys for adherence to guidelines
· Fosters strong client/agency, sales and vendor relationships
· Leads by example - provides an energy level that brings new and exciting ideas to the planning function.
Requirements
· 6+ years of advertising/media experience with focus on developing channel agnostic support plans that align with marketing/communication goals
· Experience collaborating with different disciplines to develop holistic consumer-focused support plans
· Experience working with planning and research resources (i.e. Simmons, Nielsen, etc.)
· Experience analyzing data feeds, with understanding of how to apply insights and develop media strategies
· Strong digital experience – including strategic planning, implementation, tracking, optimization, and reporting
· Ability to inspire and lead
· Client presentation experience and ability to travel
· Demonstrated focus on measurable results as we work to maximize return on investment
· Open to remote candidates
