DESCRIPTION

The Account Executive is a key member of the account service team. The primary role is to ensure excellent communication and organization of all tactical details for assigned accounts, with both internal teams and the client. The Account Executive is an important position on the account service team. This position is responsible for planning and implementing all assigned client work.

QUALIFICAITONS & SKILLS

  • Minimum 1-3 years of communications experience including time spent in direct account management.

  • Journalism and/or agency background is a plus.

  • Strong collaboration, communication and “people” skills.

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task in an ever-changing environment.

  • Impeccable attention to detail.

  • Strong analytical and creative mind.

  • Proven track record of managing client relationships and delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced agency environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as a storyteller and cheerleader for our clients’ brands, while also driving smart, organized execution to bring strategies to life and achieve best results.

  • Develop a deep understanding of clients’ business objectives, industry challenges, and competitive landscape to inform strategic recommendations and initiatives.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships.

  • Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies and campaigns across various channels, potentially including public relations, community engagement, social media, traditional/digital advertising, and experiential marketing.

  • Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts locally, regionally, nationally and within business and industry media.

  • Coordinate client events such as check presentations and interview requests.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including creative, digital, and account management, to ensure the successful delivery of client projects on time and within budget.

  • Prepare and deliver client presentations, proposals, and reports that effectively communicate agency work performance, insights, and recommendations.

  • Conduct and/or oversee research activities and contribute to insights.

  • Manage client’s billing (worksheets, Service Reports, budget tracker and projections).
